Pastor Greg has a desire to preach God’s Word and to see others come to know Christ as their Savior.  Pastor Greg became pastor at Calvary in April of 2013 and is currently serving as President of the Chilhowee Baptist Association. He and his wife Angie have 3 adult, married children as well as 4 grandchildren.

“Though a lot has changed over the past 100 years when Calvary Baptist held it’s first worship service in the “old mule barn”, the important things here have not changed. Calvary is still a loving and friendly church that is committed to Biblical teaching an service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We believe that the church should be led by the Holy Spirit and driven by our love for Jesus and our fellow Christians. Our mission is to carry on the Great Commission of Matthew 28 verses 19-20: ‘Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the nae of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.’
